ReWilding with George Monbiot, Simon King & others

Permaculture magazine
Thursday, 22nd October 2015

Rewilding is perhaps most notably associated with George Monbiot who articulately and poetically re-envisions what it is to be wild and emphasises its value beyond any purely romantic notions.

On Thursday 22 October tune in to this event that brings Britain's top five Rewilding experts together in a face to face:

George Monbiot, author of Feral, journalist, conservationist,

Charlie Burrell from Knepp Castle Rewilding,

Edward Butler from Red List Revival,

Steve Carver from the Wildland Institute,

Paul Lister from Alladale Rewilding, Rewilding Britain,

and ColinTudge from the Real Farming Institute.

Theses six experts will debate the issues around rewilding with Peter Macfayden (Head of Council Frome, author and founder of Sustainable Frome) and Simon King, Wildlife Presenter, Natural Historian, Photographer, Conservationist

The event comes midway in the ‘Decade of Biodiversity’ and against a backdrop of continued decline in virtually all species and subspecies on Earth, there is plenty to be concerned about.
