Street Food is a recipe book that presents wild food as 'the new street food', where the vendors, like the food, are often outdoors and easily accessible. These foods offer dramatic, inventive tastes yet are inexpensive and no longer just the preserve of Michelin Star chefs or identikit chains.

It helps you re-imagine some of the oldest indigenous foods that you can forage from your own locale, like nettles in the UK. It shows you how to do this safely and encourages responsible harvesting.

The Man Who Stopped The Desert is an unmissable film. It is truly inspirational in that it shows that just one person can have a very real and hugely positive impact on their environment.

Knead To Know could almost have been designed for the permaculture community. Not only is it a great look at the benefits of self-baking and eating 'real bread' but its joined-up thinking (the negative effects of mass produced bread consumption) ensures it is nothing short of essential. The book is full of information on ingredients, basic recipes, techniques, business models, legislation, money matters, equipment, voluntary apprenticeships, employment opportunities, courses, equipment and ingredient suppliers, and much more.
