Many of us are already creating a brighter future for our communities, caring for the earth and for each other, whilst living within nature's limits. One of the challenges is how to share practical solutions with even more people to enthuse and inspire them. With this in mind, the Permaculture Association is holding an event in central Birmingham to bring people together, to share insights and skills.
Are you inspired to act as an ambassador for permaculture? The Permaculture Association can offer you support and training through a specially-tailored programme, to help you make a positive change in your community. Join others from across Britain for the Permaculture Ambassadors Conference on 21 April 2017 in Birmingham. Tickets are from just £22 and travel subsidies are available.
Don't just take our word for it; here's some thoughts from people who have already benefited from this programme.
"Connect with people that have the same or similar vision as you. It makes it easier if there are others around you doing what you want to do. You can learn from them and they can learn from you. Every time you do that little something, you are building a bridge for others to be able follow you across." Wenderlynn Bagnall
On making a positive change in your community:
"Don't be afraid to give things a go. Just start. And start simply and clearly - that is, have ambition but know what you're doing so you can communicate what it is you want to achieve effectively." Phil Moore.
