Forest Farm Peace Garden in East London are opening their doors for their annual 'World Music Day' event, to celebrate the diverse community of Redbridge.

Forest Farm Peace Garden in East London is opening its doors for the annual 'World Music Day', to celebrate the Redbridge thriving diverse community.

The event is on Sunday 9th July, and will run from 12-4.30pm. It is a fsmily friendly event and is free of charge for everyone.

Attendees will have a chance to listen to live music and learn about wildlife and sustainability. The performances will include traditional Indian, classical ragas, classical music band and more!

There will also be exciting demonstrations of foraging, herbal medicine and recycling art. The practitioners at Well Being zone will offer free or/and discounted holistic treatments tasters such as Reiki, massage and reflexology. There will be a Dr Bike stand where residents can get their bikes repaired for free. A fantastic range of activities will be provided for children such as; face painting, natural messy play for under 5s, arts and crafts activities.

There will be organic plants and herbs for sale. Attendees are invited to sample fresh herbal teas and taste fire cooked soup and range of delicious foods prepared by local chefs.

Forest Farm Peace Garden is a two-acre community garden in Hainault which works with a broad cross-section of the local community to promote mental and physical health, social inclusion, intercultural awareness, and environmental sustainability.
