Yes, that's right, we are offering you the chance to win a pair of tickets to celebrate the launch of the fantastic new album from our Rhythms Del Mundo.
The winning couple will be win invites to the party at The Tabernacle, 35 Powys Square, London, W11 2AY on Tuesday 11th September at 7.30pm. There will be an exclusive performance by award-winning Malian musician (and contributor to our new album) Rokia Traore who appears on the album. Rokia has been described by The Guardian as "the finest and most adventurous female singer in Africa." The Bamboch Dancers who performed at the Olympic Ceremony will also be playing on the night, as will master kora players, Modou Ndiaye and Sura Susso.
The party is part of the fundraising campaign via Pledge Music in support of Artists Project Earth's (who Permaculture magazine have featured before) ongoing work to provide funds to people suffering from climate change, environmental injustice and natural disasters.
The album is a collaboration between Western and African musicians is an exploration of pop, rock and African music, pushing the parameters of some of the most famous songs from the last few years, with the support of the artists featured in this great new compilation!
