Mangwende Orphan Care Trust (MOCT) is a non-profit grassroot organisation supporting communities in rural Zimbabwe.
MOCT began as a project to care for orphans, and in the last 10 years it has broadened into offering workshops on sustainable dryland farming, living fences, food forest planting, mulching, composting and habitat creation, expanding across 20 neighbouring villages.
The communities are taught how to grow their own food in a more resilient system that feeds them, provides timber and also creates important wildlife habitats.
