Get your green fingers ready! - On Saturday 16th July from 11am to 6pm, at Cecil Sharp House in Camden, the Permaculture Network are hosting a day of workshops geared at helping people creatively build a sustainable future for all.
With loads of different things to try, there are workshops on natural beekeeping, forest gardening, community scale infrastructure, bike maintenance, systems in action and vertical gardening - a growing solution perfect for small urban spaces.
Permaculture magazine and Permanent Publications will be there with our bookshop – so come and have a browse and chat to us. Also, if there are any photographers out there who have ideas for our front cover images we would love to meet you!
A festival highlight is the village fete-style rude vegetable sculpture competition. Expect naughty courgettes, kinky carrots and tantalising tomatoes. To enter, bring us your finest work of art, photo or simply come along and make a sculpture on the day.
And with all this excitement, you will also be able to chill to the tune of an acoustic band or sit back and be inspired by an amazing film.
The London Permaculture Festival is a non-profit grassroots event, organised solely by volunteers. It aims to unite Green London and create a positive critical mass of awareness around DIY culture - reshaping our capital city with creative sustainability at its core.
