Alisia completed her Chef training in 2003 and went on to study Gourmet Cooking & Catering. The course included learning about the sustainability and affordability of food in the catering industry.
She then became an Aux Nurse, focussing on the nutritional value and food quality of her patients. She studied Nutrigenomics (scientific study of interaction of nutrition and genes, for the prevention or treatment of disease) and realised that healthy food leads to good health.
Alisia is passionate about quality, nutritious food, and found permaculture to offer solutions to this.
In January 2022, her book Secrets of the Care Sector became available on Amazon. It is all about navigating the ageing process and how simple dietary improvements can help so many illnesses and diseases.
